The emphasis is on fun&nbsp;and inclusion,&nbsp;making it ideal for beginners or those returning to the sport.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We play in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.devoncricket.co.uk\/softball-league\">Devon Women&#8217;s Softball League<\/a> which is for ages 13+ (we have players from 15-50+); we also offer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.exwickcricket.co.uk\/home\/junior-cricket\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.exwickcricket.co.uk\/home\/junior-cricket\/\">courses for younger players (5-11)<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How does it work?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Matches typically last 2 hours<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>8 players per side&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Batters play in pairs for 4 overs each&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>16 overs per innings&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5 runs are deducted for every wicket lost&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Everyone gets a chance to bat&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What equipment&nbsp;do I need?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No equipment needed!
