He made a valuable contribution to the club\u2019s development, particularly when stepping up to try to fill the huge gap left by head coach Steve Forbes. On the field, Jeremy stepped up mid-season to take on the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> team captaincy, and he performed consistently well all year with bat and ball.  Across all formats, Jez finished second highest wicket taker at the club with 24, at an incredible average of 8.25.
