What cricket is right for my child?

We have several options for kids to enjoy cricket at Exwick.

ECB National Programmes

For children who are new to cricket, our National Programmes provide a fun, activity-based way to learn the basics of cricket while having fun and making new friends. In 2026 we will be running All Stars Cricket for children 5 – 8 years of age at the club, and we are supporting the Wicketz Devon hub for children age 8-16. We will also be running Dynamos Cricket for girls only this summer.

Junior Teams

Even if your child has never played cricket before but is 8 years old or over then they can join our junior programmes! We have 3 age group teams this summer, all playing pairs cricket with a soft ball as well as 2 age group teams starting hardball cricket. Brand new players are very welcome, and there is no requirement to play matches until you are ready!
